IN STORE SALES ASSOCIATE
Location: West Hollywood, Los Angeles
Reports To: CEO
Hours: Part-Time

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Store Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an exceptional luxury shopping experience by providing excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, office administration, ecommerce management, and driving sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in achieving the store’s sales goals and fostering a positive brand image.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Experience:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs.
- Handle customer inquiries with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Process exchanges, and sales transactions accurately.
- Maintain a user-friendly, organized online store that encourages positive customer experiences.
- Assist in optimizing product pages to improve visibility and engagement (SEO, keywords).
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in-store, offering detailed and accurate information about products, services, and pricing.
Sales & Performance:
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Promote sales and special offers to customers, ensuring they are aware of current promotions and product benefits.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Work to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary details are communicated to the team.
- Keep the team updated on sales activity, customer feedback, and trends.
- Collaborate with team members to refine the sales process and improve customer service.
- Generate and send quotes based on customer requirements, ensuring pricing and terms align with company goals.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster repeat business.
Product Knowledge & Inventory:
- Stay updated on product offerings, features, and trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Assist in stocking, organizing, and merchandising products on the sales floor in an appealing and accessible way.
- Assist with receiving and processing new stock.
- Conduct stock checks and inventory management to ensure product availability and store organization.
- Monitor inventory levels on Shopify, updating product availability as necessary.
- Coordinate with the team to reflect any changes in product details, such as variations in size, color, or seasonal updates.
- Upload and update products on Shopify, ensuring accurate and consistent product details, including descriptions, images, pricing, and SKUs.Ensure all listings are high-quality and adhere to the brand’s standards.
Store Maintenance & Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to customers at all times.
- Assist with maintaining product displays, ensuring the store is fully stocked and that stock levels are tracked.
- Follow visual merchandising guidelines to ensure the store layout is in line with brand standards.
Sales Reporting & Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with fellow team members and management to meet store goals and ensure a positive, productive work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance personal and professional growth.
- Keep the team updated on sales activity, customer feedback, and trends.
- Collaborate with team members to refine the sales process and improve customer service.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in customer service or in a similar fast-paced environment is an asset.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and foster positive relationships.Goal-oriented with a passion for sales.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
Availability:
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts, and sometimes evenings and holidays as required.
- Start date: 04/01/2025 or sooner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in luxury retail.Knowledge of the brand and its products.
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
Hourly salary will be based on experience and qualifications, in addition to commission based on sales performance.
